This 3 hour symposium will engage individuals of all I&R roles in identifying and dismantling the “ism’s”  to bring Equity in the Workplace and Community.

He is a Life Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and enjoys spending his time traveling with his family and serving youth in the Metro Atlanta area.

Camica Credle

Camica Credle is the Chief Equipping Officer of Credle Consulting, President of Evolve YOUth, and Chief Executive of Credle Insurance Solutions Group in Toano, Virginia. Camica is a certified inspirational speaker, trainer, coach, and parent/family coach. She is a certified Human Behavioral (DISC) Consultant and a Life and Health Insurance Agent. She has a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing and Criminal Justice. Camica continued post-graduate studies at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and obtained her Master of Science in Human Service Counseling/Life Coaching and Master of Arts in Management. Her mission is to impact and influence lives to help youth and adults reach their full potential and live a life of significance. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and volunteering to be an advocate for senior and young adults.

Letha King-Brooks

Supervisor of School Improvement

Newport News Public Schools, Newport News, Virginia

Mrs. Letha King Brooks is currently the Supervisor of School Improvement for Newport News Public Schools (NNPS) in Newport News, VA, where she successfully monitors a budget of over $5.2 million in federal grant funding while ensuring compliance with state and federal accountability systems. Before returning to NNPS in December 2019, Mrs. Brooks was the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice where she was responsible for teaching and learning and successfully implemented a personalized learning model of instruction for incarcerated youth. Prior to that, she was employed in NNPS for 16 years where she traversed many roles of leadership to include Mathematics Teacher, Department Chair, Assistant Principal of Instruction, STEM Magnet Director, and Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction for Secondary Mathematics. 

Mrs. Brooks has written curriculum for grades 6 – 12 and presented on curricular topics at state and national conferences. She has organized and facilitated multiple professional development events and created multiple instructional guides and handbooks for her teams. Mrs. Brooks has also served as an adjunct mathematics instructor at Thomas Nelson Community College.

Mrs. Brooks completed the Aspiring Superintendent’s Program at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Regent University, and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics from Christopher Newport University. She is also a proud graduate of NNPS. She is a Certified Speaker, Coach, and Trainer with the John Maxwell Team and a Certified Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Facilitator and Senior Advisor with LionheartHR.

Joe Lugo

Lead Pastor

Oasis Church, St. Petersburg, Florida

Joe Lugo is a best selling author and the lead pastor for Oasis, the Spanish ministry of Countryside Christian Center in Florida. He also leads the deaf ministry and serves in the English side of church. He is known for his passion for the Latino and Deaf communities, as he spends the majority of his time serving there. Joe has a passion for learning, having completed two degrees and in the process of completing another. He is a Certified Speaker, Coach, and Trainer with the John Maxwell Team and a Certified Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Facilitator and Senior Advisor with LionheartHR.

Josh Rich

Josh Rich Serves as a consultant on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives and helps develop training and staff development programs that align with various business initiatives. Josh Provides human capital leadership to organizations and assists with talent management, strategy & planning, talent acquisition, HR business operations.

Created and launched Diversity and Inclusion program, “Another Seat at The Table” in July 2020.
ASATT program currently has over 500 facilitators across 4 continents (North America, Africa, Asia, and Europe).
Training is utilized to train Government employees/contractors, Police Departments, Chambers of Commerce, and Private businesses (including Fortune 500s).
Coach, mentor, and guide facilitators as they prepare to present to various clients.
