Database Curator and as a Certified Resource Specialist.
Amanda currently works at United Way of Central Iowa 211 as the Database Curator and as a Certified Resource Specialist. She has been working for 211 close to 13 years and became the Database Curator about 6 years ago. She graduated from Grand View University with a Bachelor’s in Human Services and an Associates degree from DMACC in Environmental Science. She enjoys helping people in need and found a good fit with 211 as she gets to help those looking for resources as well as peer counseling to those just needing an ear. She is married with 2 dogs and 3 cats and both her and her wife love to ride motorcycles when the Iowa weather permits.

Clive Jones is the current Executive Director of AIRS. With over 20 years of community services experience, Clive is the former Director of Operations for 2-1-1 Toronto and a past President of InformCanada. Before joining the non-profit sector, he worked as a newswriter, corporate video producer, and editor for a legal publishing company. Clive has an Honours B.A. in Politics and History, and diplomas in both Broadcast Journalism and Call Centre Management.
Helpline Center, Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Jennifer is the Database Manager at the Helpline Center located in Sioux Falls, SD. She has been with the Helpline for over 12 years, initially as a call specialist and youth volunteer coordinator. From there, she transitioned into the role of Database Specialist role and then Database Manager in 2014. She is has the AIRS credentials of CRS and CRS-DC as well as the AAS Certification (American Association of Suicidology) of Crisis Worker. Jennifer has a Master’s degree in Community Counseling, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a registered ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills) Trainer. Ensuring the accuracy of information (both the content, and standardized style requirements) are fulfilling for Jennifer because she believes the details make a difference. It is exciting to see resources she has created, being utilized (even only minutes later) to support both the staff and ultimately the callers in need. Jennifer lives on a small acreage with her husband and 2 adopted daughters. She enjoys walking, reading, and organizing things.
