Meredith Ponder Whitmire

Meredith Whitmire is the Vice President of Matz, Blancato and Associates in Washington, DC. For over eight years, she has specialized in policy analysis and development in the aging and healthcare fields. She attended Georgetown University, where she received her law degree and BA in American Studies. She is passionate about helping people use their personal experiences to advocate for federal policy change. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and playing fetch with her cats.

Anita Khanna

Anita Khanna is the National Director of Public Policy and Government Relations for United Way Centraide Canada. Previously, she was the national coordinator of Campaign 2000: End Child and Family Poverty in Canada and Director of Social Action and Community Building at Family Service Toronto. She has worked to make services and civic participation accessible to often marginalized community members. She served on the board of the Childcare Resource and Research Unit and the South Asian Legal Clinic of Ontario and as Executive Director of the Council of Agencies Serving South Asians (CASSA). She is a City-Wide Organizer at Social Planning Toronto and a member of the Ontario Human Rights Commission’s Community Advisory Group. Anita holds a Master's in Social Work from the University of Toronto and lives in Ottawa.
