Brian Tiefenbrun was born in St. Louis, MO. He joined the US Army in 2007 as a Combat Medic, where he served for ten years and completed a tour of duty in Afghanistan. While on active duty, Brian completed his Bachelor’s in psychology in 2016. He began his civilian career as the Milieu Manager of a Residential Treatment Facility focusing on recreational therapy. Brian transitioned to work as an investigator for the State of Alaska, investigating reports of child abuse for two years. The limited knowledge of community resources available inspired Brian to apply for Connect Mat-Su to help launch their Information and Referral Program. Brian is now the Operations Manager of Connect Mat-Su and oversees the technical aspects of the program. Brian has been married to his wife for 14 years this September, and they have three daughters together and three fur babies. Brian enjoys the Alaskan life, spending time with his family, weightlifting, and self-improvement. Currently, Brian is working on a second bachelor's in graphic design and web development.
