Keith V. Taylor is a Veterans Specialist and a Counselor for the Harris County Area Agency on Aging in the City of Houston’s Health Department. In this position, Keith is responsible for case management for Veterans and senior citizens who receive services under the Veterans Directed Care Program and Care Coordination and Caregiver Support Coordination Programs. He has served in this capacity since January 2016.

Before that, Keith was a Regional Trainer for Mister Carwash, the nation’s giant carwash, and lube chain organization. As a Regional Trainer, Keith was responsible for screening, interviewing, and supervising Customer Care Representatives and Customer Service Advisors. Keith also conducted training for new employees regarding EEO, company values and ethics, and company policies against sexual harassment and discrimination. 

Keith is a U.S. Navy Veteran with 23 years of honorable service to our nation. Keith served most of that time in the reserve and spent time on active duty during his tenure. During his Naval career, Keith served domestically and many overseas posts, including a war duty tour in Afghanistan in 2010. Keith retired as a Lieutenant Commander in 2013. 

Keith holds a Master of Science Degree in Transportation Planning and Management from  Texas Southern University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Prairie View A&M University.  

In terms of his personal life, Keith is a devout Christian and has three children, and is married to his wife, Marjorie, who serves as a deputy and bailiff with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
