Rebecca Cornwell earned a bachelor of arts degree at The University of Alabama in Social Justice and Anti-racist Activism and a master's in Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from Massachusetts, Boston. In February 2014, she became a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA). Because the demand for BCBAs in Alabama dramatically surpasses Massachusetts's, she committed to moving back to her hometown and serving there. After practicing as a BCBA for a few years, working with children who have a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, she was introduced to HandsOn River Region and began as the 211 Program Manager there, covering resources and calls from 14 counties around Montgomery, AL. She loves her beautiful dog named Gordie and her brilliant nephew named Rowan.
