Sara Stowe is a Project Coordinator supporting the implementation of critical projects for Virginia’s No Wrong Door COVID-19 Critical Relief and Vaccine Access grants with accessible web-based resources in the NWD Person-Centered portal, as well as cross-agency collaborations with Virginia Assistive Technology System, Brain Injury Unit and the Independent Living Unit. Sara works to engage and align aging and disability services for that statewide network of partners and providers. Sara is a Gerontologist with seven years of experience in community-based gerontology. Sara holds a Master’s degree in Gerontology and received her Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University. Sara has served as the Center Manager for the Farmville, VA site of Centra PACE. Previously, Sara has also served as Henrico County’s Advocate for the Aging and several positions with Senior Connections, The Capital Area Agency on Aging. In her free time, Sara enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and cat, Nala, as well as exploring Virginia.
