Cathleen is in her sixth year as the Health Resource Specialist at the Epilepsy & Seizures 24/7 Helpline, the first nationally-AIRS-accredited specialized I&R. With degrees in social work and advance-practice nursing, she has been an educator of medical and nursing students and a health coach. She sees her service to the epilepsy community as the confluence of healthcare and social justice.

Outside of work she volunteers with the Medical Reserve Corps and helped found the local library Friends group and the Cheverly Village which connects volunteers with seniors in the neighborhood. Virtual work allows frequent visits to her Alaskan grandson.
