Nikki Soukup is the Director of Public Policy and Community Relations with the Arizona Commission for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing (ACDHH). With over 15 years of experience providing project and business leadership and focusing on nonprofit and public institutions, Nikki continues to create equitable experiences for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind individuals to excel in every opportunity. Nikki has a master’s in Social Work, focusing on policy practice and administration from the University of Washington – Seattle, and a bachelor’s in Social Work, with a minor in Communications from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Nikki believes in and promotes ACDHH values of inclusive, equitable communication access and providing an optimal quality of life for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind communities. On a personal note, Nikki enjoys spending time with her family and pets, being actively involved with her daughter’s school and sports events, exploring nature, and experiencing new places.
